Test Results: Raw Sewage

Our next big challenge was the “real world” treatment of raw sewage taken from a sewage treatment plant, after the separation of grit, and other materials, but before any treatment of any kind had been applied to the sewage. Here are the results.

THE RAW SEWAGE WAS TREATED TWICE BY OUR TECHNOLOGY

The raw sewage had a total organic nitrogen and ammonium content of 35.500 MG/L. The first pass reduced it to 21.200 MG/L and the second pass took it to 9.690 MG/L.

The total phosphorus recorded in the raw sewage sample was 6.870 MG/L.

The first pass took it to 3.270 MG/L and the second pass took it to 0.358 MG/L.

These results were accomplished all without chemicals of filters or mercury filled ultra violet bulbs, instantly at a 180,000 gallons a day process rate.
